Happy Thursday Everyone - Take a Look at My GiveAway List

It seems everyone is busy crafting except me! Oh, darn. Life has been a little busy lately for me ... especially since my lawn seems to grow 6 inches every day!

I also need to find my camera, too, so that I can post some pictures especially of the giveaway items I received from Kerri over at The Calico Rabbit. I just love the towel and the painted wooden sign and they will be fantastic additions to my kitchen.

If you have some time and enjoy giveaways, check out the ones I have listed on my sidebar ... and good luck and have a snow cone kind of day!

  2. Hi Gina,
I get my everday wool from wool garments that I buy from thrift stores (I get my black wool there because its less expensive and its the type I use the most of) and some of my real "special" stuff I get at a local wool store. "BUT" I do have tons of wool pieces and I would be glad to do an exchange with you. Most wool stores charge $3 per ounce. I'll charge $1.25 per ounce. Just tell me the colors you would like and the size and I'll see if I have it in my stash.

If you want to build up your stash via the thrift stores look for 100% wool or at least 80% wool blends. Then I wash them in hot water with a little detergent and then put the in the dryer and THEN cut them apart. At this point I over dye them if I want to (I over dye most plaids and patterns).

Hope this helps. Just let me know about the exchange.
